Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public and/or sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Demonstrate an ability to support and contribute to the community team.
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by criteria (ask questions, use guest cards).
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record visits on reports and maintain guest cards per procedures.
• Inspect models and communicate service needs to the Community Manager.
• Have the prospect complete the application and secure a deposit per procedures.
• Update the availability report and process applications (credit check, rental history).
• Assist in monitoring renewals and follow up on renewal notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and file market competition information.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Accept rental payments and forward to the Assistant Community Manager.
• Type lease, input information in the Yardi system and obtain signatures.
• Assist the management team with other tasks as required.
• Consistently implement community policies.
