Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Leasing Manager to promote leasing, retention, and occupancy for our community while delivering outstanding resident service. The role emphasizes a customer-service focus and a lasting positive impression on prospects, residents, and visitors.

You will manage move-ins, lease paperwork, renewals, and advertising effectiveness, using Yardi and MS Office to keep accurate records and support the community team in achieving occupancy goals.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in customer service.
• Fair Housing Certification; willingness to obtain before interacting with residents.
• Ability to work with the public and sales-oriented.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Yardi software.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by criteria (ask questions, use guest cards).
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record visits and maintain guest cards per procedures.
• Inspect models and communicate service needs to Property Manager.
• Process applications, conduct credit checks and deposits.
• Monitor renewals and follow up on notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and analyze market competition.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Process rental payments and forward to Assistant Community Manager.
• Input lease data into Yardi accurately and timely.
• Assist management with additional tasks as required.
• Enforce community policies consistently.
