Job summary

Cardinal Group in Eugene, Oregon is seeking a Leasing Community Intern (Temporary, Non-Exempt) to deliver high quality customer service to our residents. You will support front desk operations, assist with leasing tasks, and help maintain a welcoming, organized community experience.

This role requires reliable availability for evenings and weekends, the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and current enrollment in a degree program with GPA 2.5 or higher.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enrolled in a degree program with a minimum of 6 credit hours.
• Must have completed at least one year of college coursework.
• Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA; annual verification; failure may lead to probation or release.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for customer service; ensure Cardinal customers are satisfied.
• Administrative front desk tasks and duties.
• Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing (CWoL) training as required.
• greet prospective clients and answer leasing calls; present community and apartments.
• Complete all lease applications and lease file paperwork.
• Pass third party leasing shops and become Cardinal Way of Leasing certified.
• Maintain lease file documentation and participate in audits.
• Maintain cleanliness of tour path for positive first impressions.
• Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude with team, residents and vendors.
• Assist with planning community events and other projects as assigned.
• Participate in Cardinal U training as required.
• On-call responsibilities (lock-outs, nightly rounds) and evening/weekend shifts.
