Job summary

Cardinal Group Companies is seeking a Leasing Community Intern to deliver high-quality customer service and support our residents. The role emphasizes teamwork, occupancy goals, and hands-on leasing activities at the community level.

The intern will participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing training, manage front desk tasks, and assist with events while maintaining lease documentation and standards. Evening/weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and be enrolled in a degree program.
• Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA with annual verification.
• Be a current or future leaseholder and live on designated community floor.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Able to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an ambassador for customer service and residents.
• Perform front desk administrative tasks and duties.
• Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing training and certification.
• Greet clients, answer calls, present the community, and close leases.
• Complete lease applications and maintain lease file documentation.
• Attend to on-call responsibilities and assist with events.
