Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enrolled in a degree program with a minimum of 6 credit hours.
• Must have completed a minimum of one year at the enrolled college or university.
• Must maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA; GPA verified annually.
• Must be a current or future leaseholder of the community.
• Must live on designated community floor as assigned by Community Manager.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Available to be scheduled for work approximately 20 hours per week.
• Available evenings and weekends.
• Ability to embody Cardinal Culture and Core Values.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for customer service and ensure Cardinal customers are satisfied.
• Administrative Front Desk tasks and duties.
• Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing (CWoL) training.
• Greet prospective clients and respond to leasing calls; present community and apartments.
• Utilize feature/benefit selling and close the sale; follow up on leads.
• Complete lease applications and lease file paperwork.
• Pass third party leasing shops and become Cardinal Way of Leasing certified.
• Maintain accurate lease file documentation and participate in audits.
• Maintain cleanliness of the tour path for a positive first impression.
• Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude with team members, residents, and vendors.
• Participate in planning community events and assist with other projects as assigned.
• Participate in Cardinal U training; on-call responsibilities; evenings and weekends.
