Job summary

Cable One is seeking a Lease Accounting Analyst to manage ASC 842 lease accounting, maintain schedules, and support internal and external reporting. The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting and at least one year of general ledger experience; ASC 842 experience is highly preferred.

You will partner with accounting teams, assist with audits including SOX, and contribute to process improvements and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with at least one year of GL accounting experience.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lease accounting schedules per ASC 842 and related processes.
• Develop end-to-end understanding of lease accounting, stakeholders, systems, and controls.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly analyses and journal entries.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
• Support internal and external audits, including SOX.
• Complete special projects and analyses for department leadership.
• Stay updated on ASC 842, FASB, SEC, and PCAOB standards affecting reporting.
