Cable One is seeking a Lease Accounting professional to maintain schedules and support end-to-end lease accounting processes under ASC 842. You will work across accounting functions to ensure accurate reporting and internal controls.

The role involves preparing analyses, journal entries, and variances investigations, with involvement in audit activities and ongoing standards updates. A bachelor’s in accounting and hands-on ledger experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting with 1 year of ledger experience.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting preferred.

Aufgaben

• Maintain lease accounting schedules per ASC 842.
• Understand end-to-end lease accounting processes and internal controls.
• Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
• Support internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
• Complete special projects and analyses for department leadership.
• Stay updated on FASB, SEC and PCAOB standards affecting reporting.
