Cable One is seeking a Lease Accountant to maintain ASC 842 lease accounting schedules and support end-to-end processes across the organization. This role partners with accounting and reporting teams to ensure accurate financial statements.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Accounting and at least one year of general ledger experience; ASC 842 knowledge is highly preferred. This remote role offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting.
• Minimum of one year of practical general ledger accounting experience.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting is highly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Maintains lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842.
• Develops understanding of end-to-end lease accounting processes and controls.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances.
• Supports internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
• Completes special projects and analyses as requested by leadership.
• Keeps abreast of FASB, SEC and PCAOB standards affecting accounting practices.
