Job summary

Cable One is seeking a detail-oriented Lease Accountant to manage ASC 842 lease accounting schedules and related GL entries. You will collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and controls across the lease lifecycle.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting and at least one year of general ledger experience; ASC 842 experience is preferred. This position offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting; and a minimum of one year of practical general ledger accounting experience.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842.
• Develops detailed understanding of end-to-end lease accounting process and controls.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and resolves variances.
• Supports internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
• Completes special projects and analyses for leadership.
