Job summary

Cable One is seeking a Lease Accounting Accountant to maintain ASC 842 schedules, understand end-to-end lease accounting processes, and support reporting across internal and external channels.

You will prepare analyses and journal entries, reconcile accounts, assist with audits, and stay current with FASB, SEC, and PCAOB standards. This role offers remote work options for the right candidate in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting.
• Minimum one year of practical general ledger accounting experience.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842.
• Develops understanding of the end-to-end lease accounting process and controls.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances.
• Supports internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
