Job summary

Cable One is seeking a Lease Accounting Analyst to maintain ASC 842 schedules and support the accounting lifecycle. You will develop a deep understanding of end-to-end lease processes, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure accurate journal entries and reconciliations.

The role involves supporting audits, staying current with FASB/SEC/PCAOB standards, and handling special projects for the department leadership. Remote options may be available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting.
• Minimum one year of general ledger accounting experience.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842.
• Develops detailed understanding of end-to-end lease accounting processes and controls.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances.
• Supports internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
• Completes special projects and analyses for department leadership.
• Keeps abreast of FASB, SEC and PCAOB standards and assesses impact.
