Job summary

Cable One is seeking a Lease Accounting Analyst to maintain schedules and analyze lease transactions in line with ASC 842. This role supports accounting processes, internal controls, and external reporting across our Cable One family of brands.

The successful candidate will handle journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and assist with SOX compliance and audits. Remote work is possible for the right candidate in eligible states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains lease accounting schedules per ASC 842.
• Develops end-to-end understanding of lease accounting processes and controls.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances.
• Supports SOX/compliance and internal audit activities.
