Zusammenfassung

Cable One is seeking a Lease Accountant to maintain lease accounting schedules in line with ASC 842. You will develop a detailed understanding of the end-to-end lease accounting process, collaborate with stakeholders, and prepare analyses and journal entries to support accurate reporting.

You will also reconcile balance sheet accounts, assist with audits including SOX, and participate in special projects. A Bachelor's in Accounting and at least one year of related experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting; and a minimum of one year of practical general ledger accounting experience.
• ASC 842 lease accounting experience is highly preferred.

• Maintains lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842.
• Develops end-to-end understanding of lease accounting processes, stakeholders, systems, and controls.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances.
• Supports internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
• Completes special projects and analyses as requested by department leadership.
• Keeps abreast of FASB, SEC, and PCAOB standards affecting internal accounting and reporting.
