Cable One is seeking a Lease Accounting Analyst to maintain ASC 842 schedules and support detailed financial reporting across the lease portfolio.

The role emphasizes journal entries, reconciliations, and internal controls, with remote work options for qualified candidates in the United States. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Accounting and at least one year of general ledger experience, plus strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of one year of practical general ledger accounting experience.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintains lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842.
• Develops detailed understanding of the end-to-end process of lease accounting, including stakeholders, systems, and controls.
• Proactively prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances.
• Supports internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
• Completes special projects and analyses for department leadership.
• Keeps abreast of FASB, SEC and PCAOB changes and analyzes their impact.
