Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Learning Experience Design Manager to lead a team of designers and drive the strategy for enterprise leadership programs. You will steward human-centered design, instructional best practices, and a product mindset to shape high-impact learning journeys across the organization.

You will mentor designers, coordinate with partners to align initiatives with business goals, and embed AI tools into workflows to scale delivery while sustaining design excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 3 years of people leadership experience.
• At least 5 years of experience designing and developing learning experiences across digital and in-person environments.
• 5+ years of experience as a people leader leading Design teams.
• 7+ years of experience as a learning experience designer building and designing learning experiences across digital and in-person environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and empower a team of Learning Experience Designers.
• Oversee the portfolio of leadership and DIB learning initiatives, aligning design efforts to drive business impact.
• Partner with program leads and HR to assess needs and create clear roadmaps for learning initiatives.
• Use human-centered design, data, and analytics to optimize learning outcomes and experiences.
• Infuse artificial intelligence tools into workflows to maximize efficiency, creativity and scale.
