ABB is seeking a Training & Capability Development Specialist for US ELSE Commercial Operations to build and execute a comprehensive learning strategy that supports business transformation, process adoption, and workforce development. You will partner across the organization to create engaging learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5+ years in learning & development
• Experience designing and delivering training programs
• Ability to translate complex processes into clear learning solutions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and creating professional training materials

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of training and capability-building initiatives aligned with business transformation goals.
• Design, develop, and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced learning programs.
• Create training materials, job aids, assessments, and process documentation that support employee success.
• Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to translate processes and systems into effective learning solutions.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and supporting documentation.
• Establish and manage onboarding, upskilling, and role-based development programs.
• Coordinate training schedules, communications, and learning events across the organization.
• Maintain training content and resources within the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Monitor training participation, compliance, and effectiveness using learner and business performance metrics.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional development across US ELSE Services.
