Job summary

ABB is seeking a Training & Capability Development Specialist for US ELSE Commercial Operations to build and execute a comprehensive learning strategy that supports transformation, adoption, and workforce growth. You will partner with leaders to create engaging programs that enhance knowledge, skills, and confidence across the organization.

Responsibilities include designing instructor-led and digital training, developing SOPs and job aids, and coordinating onboarding and development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in learning & development, instructional design, training, or organizational capability building.
• Strong facilitation, content development, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience creating professional training materials and documentation.
• Ability to translate complex processes into clear, effective learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of training and capability-building initiatives aligned with business transformation goals.
• Design, develop, and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced learning programs.
• Create training materials, job aids, assessments, and process documentation that support employee success.
• Partner with business leaders and SMEs to translate processes and systems into learning solutions.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and supporting documentation.
• Establish onboarding, upskilling, and role-based development programs.
• Coordinate training schedules, communications, and learning events.
