Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Training & Capability Development Specialist for US ELSE Commercial Operations. You will build and execute a comprehensive learning strategy to support business transformation, process adoption, and workforce development.

Partner across the organization to create engaging programs that empower employees with the knowledge and confidence to excel. You will lead onboarding, upskilling, and role-based development, collaborate with leaders, and maintain SOPs and learning

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, or related field.
5+ years of experience in learning & development, instructional design, training, or organizational capability building.
Strong facilitation, content development, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience creating professional training materials and documentation.
Ability to translate complex processes and systems into clear, effective learning experiences.

Responsibilities

Lead development and execution of training initiatives aligned with business transformation goals.
Design, develop, and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced learning programs.
Create training materials, job aids, assessments, and SOPs to support employee success.
Partner with leaders and SMEs to translate processes into learning solutions.
Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and supporting documentation.
Establish onboarding, upskilling, and role-based development programs.
Coordinate training schedules, communications, and events.
Maintain LMS content and resources.
Monitor participation, compliance, and effectiveness with metrics.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
