Job summary

Parker Aerospace seeks a Lean Manufacturing Manager to lead the division's lean initiatives and train associates in the Parker Lean System, driving continuous improvement across manufacturing and support functions.

You will collaborate with division staff and plant leadership to standardize processes, lead PFMEA activities, and drive metrics such as ROS and RONA, reporting to the Division Lean Manager. A BSME or similar degree and 5+ years in manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent engineering degree required, with a minimum of five years manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of Lean principles including Value Stream Mapping, JIT, Demand Flow, and Single Piece Flow.
• Led a minimum of ten Kaizen events in a manufacturing environment; broad office and factory exposure.
• Familiarity with financial metrics in Lean environments (ROS, RONA, Lean Report Card).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead lean implementation using Parker Lean Systems across division and sites.
• Develop standardization of manufacturing processes to support quality and productivity improvements.
• Lead PFMEA activities to mitigate failures in manufacturing.
• Support Plant Lean Leaders and Manufacturing Engineers with required teamwork and mentoring.
• Communicate status of Lean efforts to Division Lean Manager and executives, documenting results.
