Job summary

Staples Supply Chain in Aurora, CO is seeking a Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator for a 10:00pm-6:30am Sunday-Thursday shift. You will mentor and train new material handlers and step in for supervisors as needed.

You will operate forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to move product within a fast-paced warehouse, while upholding safety procedures and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

• 12+ months related experience in a warehouse environment
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible
• Overtime may be required based on business needs
• Ability to lift, push or pull equipment/merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds
• Must wear safety composite work shoes
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Prefered: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator; mentor and train new material handlers
• Fill in for supervisors as needed
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, electric pallet jacks) to move product
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace while moving products
• Contribute to Staples Supply Chain success by delivering safe, efficient operations
