Job summary

Staples in Arden Hills, MN is seeking a Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator to mentor and train team members, operate forklifts and related equipment, and help maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment.

You will support the Staples supply chain by moving products efficiently while following safety procedures, providing leadership on the floor, and ensuring safe work practices are followed during all shifts.

Qualifications

• 12+ months related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legal.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Lift up to 100 pounds.
• Wear safety shoes.
• Walk/stand 100% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Lead trainer for material handlers and cover supervisory tasks.
• Operate forklifts and related material handling equipment to move products.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and adhere to safety procedures.
• Contribute to Staples supply chain operations and on-time deliveries.
