Job summary

Staples Advantage Canada is seeking a Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator to mentor and train staff, fill in for supervisors as needed, and maintain a safe, efficient warehouse environment. You will operate forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks while keeping pallets stacked and workspaces clean.

The role requires 12+ months warehouse experience, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and overtime flexibility.

Qualifications

• 12+ months related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Full-Time associates may be required to work additional hours/overtime.
• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Must wear safety composite work shoes.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator; mentor and train new material handlers.
• Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to move products within the warehouse.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace and uphold safety culture.
• Support Staples Supply Chain operations to deliver to customers.
