Job summary

DSV Road GmbH is seeking a focused Operations Supervisor in Chester, VA to supervise inbound/outbound activities, labor planning, and customer communications. You will schedule staff, manage space and equipment, and ensure safety and efficiency, reporting to the Operations Manager or DC Manager.

Responsibilities include hiring and developing staff, meeting KPI targets, and ensuring quality and cost objectives are met while maintaining SOP compliance in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
• Preferred: Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff meetings and plan daily work.
• Inform senior management of critical issues and client updates.
• Develop safe, productive operations and meet client KPIs.
• Hire, train, and evaluate staff; manage performance.
• Plan daily work schedule and assign duties to warehouse staff.
• Support SOP adherence and drive process improvements.
