Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. in Fredericksburg, VA, is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee inbound, outbound, and warehousing activities.

You will manage labor scheduling, space utilization, and daily workload while ensuring safe, cost-efficient operations. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will hire, train, and evaluate staff, drive continuous improvement, meet KPI targets, and coordinate with clients and senior management.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 3 years' experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
• Preferred: Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inbound, outbound, slotting and customer communication daily.
• Plan labor scheduling, space utilization, equipment and manpower.
• Hire, train, and evaluate staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure KPI targets and quality system requirements are met.
• Maintain safety and SOP compliance.
• Communicate with senior management and client representatives.
