Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics seeks a Senior Operations Supervisor to lead warehouse operations across multiple shifts, guiding teams and ensuring safety, quality, and cost objectives are met.

You will partner with Operations Management on staffing, workload forecasting, SOP adherence, and continuous improvement initiatives, while mentoring Supervisors and ensuring performance standards are consistently applied.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 5+ years in logistics, distribution, or relevant environment
• 3+ years supervisory experience
• Experience leading complex operations and multiple teams or shifts

Responsibilities

• Conduct staff meetings to review daily/weekly activities and plan workload.
• Inform management and clients of issues affecting service, safety, or cost.
• Lead multi‑shift or high‑complexity operations within the facility.
• Coach, mentor, and guide Supervisors and lead team members.
• Partner with Operations Management to support staffing, planning, and workload forecasting.
• Identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities and develop action plans.
• Ensure SOPs, safety standards, and quality requirements are followed across teams.
• Drive productivity, service, safety, and financial KPIs.
• Support cost control initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Escalate complex employee relations or operational issues.
• Participate in workforce planning and talent development.
