Job summary

DSV is seeking an Operations Supervisor at our USA Chester, VA area to lead inbound/outbound flows, labor planning, and staff management in a 12-hour rotating shift. You will drive safe, cost-effective warehousing, optimize space and equipment, and ensure KPI achievement while coordinating closely with the Distribution Center Manager and client teams.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in logistics, 1+ year in supervision, forklift training, and strong leadership; MS Office, RF scanners, and WMS

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years’ experience in logistics/distribution.
• 1 year supervisory experience.
• Preferred: MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation.
• Forklift training certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inbound, outbound, product slotting and customer communication daily.
• Plan labor scheduling, space utilization, equipment and manpower.
• Hire and train staff; conduct performance appraisals.
• Ensure safety, quality, and KPI targets meet client requirements.
• Communicate with senior management and client representatives.
• Develop SOP compliant procedures and cost-saving measures.
