Job summary

DSV, located in USA (Lancaster, TX), is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee inbound/outbound activities, labor scheduling, and space utilization in the data center environment. You will supervise staff, train, and ensure safety and efficiency in line with client requirements.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3 years in logistics, and 1 year in supervision, with forklift/MHE knowledge preferred. Flexible schedules and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role
• Preferred: Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation

Responsibilities

• Conducts staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities, plan and assure continuous improvement.
• Ensures the development of systems and procedures for managing operations, equipment, and products in a safe and profitable manner in accordance with company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Meets all client specified KPI’s and complies with Quality system requirements.
• Plans the daily work schedule by reviewing existing work orders, arrival notices, and instructions from customers.
• Trains new staff in assigned duties and assesses progress of trainees.
