Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber Foreperson in Minnesota to lead daily crew operations and ensure safety compliance. You will coordinate work, train crew members, and liaise with property owners to obtain access for jobs.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, plus the ability to work in outdoor conditions while adhering to company safety policies. A valid driver’s license is required and union dues may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, and line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Weight limit around 300 pounds.
• No fear of heights.
• Willing to pay union dues.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily crew work after orders from a General Foreperson/Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining of crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per policy and OSHA guidelines; conducts safety training.
• Discusses access, power interruption, and work scope with property owners; refers issues to the General Foreperson.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports for crew operations.
• Controls crew costs and ensures efficient use of people, methods, and equipment.
