Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber Crew Foreperson in Minnesota. The role oversees daily crew operations, coordinates work orders, and enforces safety protocols on job sites.

You will mentor crew members and manage field training while ensuring timely and safe completion of tree-trimming tasks. The position requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to work at heights.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to read drawings and symbols representing lines and equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Organized and able to multi-task in field settings.
• Capable of independent action with minimal supervision.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Able to work at heights and lift basic weights.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders from a General Foreperson/Supervisor.
• Conducts field training and re-training for crew on new job units.
• Enforces safety practices per company policy and OSHA guidelines.
• Discusses access and work scope with property owners and communicates with General Foreperson on complex issues.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports related to crew performance.
• Furnishes reports of orders completed, crew time, and incidents to supervisors.
• Keeps equipment and trucks maintained and organized; manages crew costs.
• Investigates incidents and coordinates with customers, police, and fire departments as needed.
