Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber Foreperson to lead daily crew operations, coordinate work orders, and ensure safety standards on-site. The role involves training crew members, managing access with property owners, and maintaining records and equipment.

The position requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to work in outdoor conditions, with union wage scale applied. Medical, pension, and welfare benefits are provided under the union contract.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Capable of multi-tasking and adapting to field requirements.
• Able to safely drive a company vehicle and operate in field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew from orders.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new or revised units.
• Enforces safe work practices per policy and OSHA guidelines and conducts safety training.
• Secures permissions from property owners and coordinates access for work.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports related to crew performance.
• Keeps equipment and vehicles in good condition and manages costs of crew operations.
• Furnishes supervisors with reports on orders completed and incidents.
