Job summary

AmFirst is seeking a Branch Teller Supervisor to assist the Branch Manager in delivering quality member service. You will supervise daily teller activities, vault operations, and audit/security tasks to maintain accurate cash handling and branch controls.

The role focuses on coaching tellers, monitoring vault cash, and ensuring efficient front-line operations while maintaining strong member relations and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• One year of teller experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to supervise.
• Good judgment to evaluate accounts and approve transactions.
• Organized and able to move quickly between priorities.
• Familiar with all credit union services to make appropriate referrals.

Responsibilities

• Assist tellers with daily activities such as check approval and resolving member questions.
• Monitor Vault Teller, manage vault cash, daily cash orders, and branch balancing.
• Provide ongoing training and feedback to tellers; report disciplinary issues to management.
• Complete reports, coordinate audits, and document on a timely basis.
• Maintain branch equipment including ATM activity and cash recyclers.
• Develop positive working relationships within the branch to provide quality service.
• Attend Head Teller meetings and relay information to the manager and staff.
• Maintain teller window to accommodate member traffic.
