Job summary

1st MS Federal Credit Union is seeking a Branch Supervisor to oversee tellers and member service representatives, ensuring accurate cash handling and customer service excellence.

You will hire, train, coach, and evaluate staff, resolve disputes, approve overrides, and maintain compliance with policies. The role also monitors vault and ATM operations and cross-sells credit union products.

Qualifications

• One year to three years of similar or related experience.
• High school education or GED.
• Interpersonal skills for conflict resolution and relationship building.
• Knowledge of teller procedures and cash handling policies.
• Ability to organize workflow, train staff, and supervise others.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, schedules, and monitors daily activities of tellers and member service representatives.
• Provides guidance, answers complex questions, and helps resolve disputes; performs transaction overrides and refunds; oversees cash drawer audits.
• Hires, trains, develops, coaches, and evaluates employee performance within the branch; recommends employment actions.
• Receives and processes member transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments) and cross-sells CU products.
• Monitors compliance with policies and regulations; oversees vault and ATM management.
• Maintains professional work environment and ensures excellent member service quality.
• Cross-sells Credit Union products and services; performs other duties as assigned.
