Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-5 years teller or cash-handling experience
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience
• Familiarity with credit union philosophy and member-first service approach
• Knowledge of BSA and OFAC requirements
• Understanding of fraud prevention, CTR/SAR reporting, and audit processes
• Experience with dual control procedures and branch security standards

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily teller operations to ensure smooth workflow and adequate staffing
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to teller staff
• Process member transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers
• Approve transactions within assigned authority limits and resolve escalated member issues
• Monitor cash levels, perform audits, and ensure proper cash handling procedures
• Balance vault, ATM, and teller drawers/recyclers; investigate discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations (BSA, Reg CC, OFAC)
• Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and coverage planning
• Train new Tellers and support ongoing staff development
• Promote credit union products and services to meet member needs
• Maintain high level of member service and professionalism
• Support branch goals and assist with operational and sales initiatives
