Job summary

Texas Bay Credit Union is looking for a Lead Teller in Houston to supervise the Teller line, handle closing procedures, and ensure safety while assisting members with account transactions and requests to provide an exceptional experience.

The role requires supervising on Saturdays, maintaining daily cash controls, and educating members on CU products to help meet personal and financial goals.

Qualifications

• A high school education or GED.
• 1–3 years of similar or related experience.
• Completion of required training courses.
• Proficient in MS Office and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous service to members by following established TBCU member service expectations.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers and card transactions with accuracy.
• Follow all policies including proper ID, validation checks and OFAC obligations.
• Manage cash drawer to ensure change availability, daily limits, and balance transactions.
• Maintain knowledge of TBCU products, policies, and services.
• Educate members on CU products by identifying goals.
• Maintain storage for member documents in scanned folders.
• Resolve member issues by applying knowledge of credit union processes.
• Ensure Closing and ATM logs are kept per policies.
• Protect the Credit Union's professional reputation.
• Assist Branch Manager on Saturdays as the branch supervisor.
• Create and maintain a fun teamwork environment.
• Assist in training, development, and motivation of the team.
• Participate in the Performance Reward Program.
