Job summary

PNC in Palos Hills, IL, is seeking a Lead Teller to join our Retail Banking team. Based in-office, you will coach tellers, model excellent customer service, and help drive financial wellbeing for customers.

You will lead daily branch operations, mentor staff, and collaborate with branch leadership to ensure accurate processing and strong customer experiences. Prior Teller or retail banking experience preferred; no sponsorship offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of retail banking products and customer service standards.
• Ability to coach and mentor tellers and staff.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coaches, mentors and leads tellers by example to deliver a unique customer experience aimed at improving customer financial wellbeing and creating loyalty while increasing share of wallet.
• Coaches, mentors and leads tellers by example in identifying opportunities through meaningful conversations with customers, making appropriate referrals to branch staff.
• Coaches, mentors and leads tellers by example in performing lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs.
• Coaches, mentors and leads tellers by example with clear communication skills, transaction handling and problem resolution processes.
• Assists the Branch Manager in performance management and new hire selection processes.
