Job summary

Renasant Bank in Hattiesburg, MS seeks a Head Teller to lead the branch experience, coach staff, and manage customer engagements, service, and operations. You will role model and mentor teammates, pursue sales opportunities, and ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures.

The Head Teller will oversee Teller responsibilities, assist Branch Manager, and participate in interviewing and training, while maintaining sound operations and a strong customer service focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. College education preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Drive a best in class branch experience in five primary areas: customer engagement, service execution, operational excellence, leadership, and management.
• Coach Teller staff to ensure no breaks in service or sales opportunities.
• Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payoffs, official checks, etc.
• Balance daily operations, manage supplies, balance ATM and vault, and perform branch capture procedures.
• Refer customers to appropriate platforms for needs-based conversations while ensuring compliance with policies.
