Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred.
• Minimum 2 years cash handling experience, one with teller background.
• Minimum 1 year leadership experience.
• Minimum 1 year customer experience in a sales environment preferred.
• Proven track record of leadership, sales management, and coaching.
• Ability to drive sales and customer experience results.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Teamwork mindset; ability to work cooperatively.
• Attention to detail with accurate transaction handling.
• Comfortable using technology to process transactions.
• Good time management and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel for training and between branches

Responsibilities

• Execute and coach the teller engagement process to ensure seamless service and sales opportunities.
• Maintain and role model service knowledge standards per regulations and policies.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payoffs and checks efficiently.
• Balance daily operations, order supplies, balance ATM and vault, and perform branch capture procedures.
• Identify customer needs and refer to appropriate platforms for needs-based conversations.
• Follow compliance, risk, and operational procedures to protect the bank.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly branch assessments.
• Mentor and onboard new tellers and ensure training completion.
• Participate in interviewing, selecting, and training teammates.
• Supervise tellers and approve overrides; manage daily personnel and teller balances.
• Lead sales, service, and operational meetings; support security meetings.
• Contribute to performance assessments and coaching for improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
