Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year teller experience or previous cash handling experience preferred.
• 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with customers and identify opportunities to help with financial needs while processing transactions.
• 10-Key skills and mathematical ability required.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions effectively and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payoffs and official checks.
• Recognize customer needs and refer customers for needs-based conversations.
• Execute service standards in every customer and teammate interaction.
• Address customer issues and refer to a teammate if needed.
• Maintain knowledge of regulations, policies, and procedures related to Teller operations.
• Balance daily operations, order supplies, balance the ATM and vault, and perform branch capture procedures.
• Protect the bank by following compliance and risk procedures.
• Stay updated on Teller-related regulations and procedures, assist Head Teller as needed.
• May coach and mentor and serve as a role model for teller teammates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
