Job summary

The AES Corporation is seeking a Lead Technical Trainer for AES Clean Energy (ACE) O&M to develop and manage a renewable technical training program for Solar, Wind and Battery technicians. You will coordinate and deliver training that spans field operations and corporate teams, reporting to the Senior Manager of Technical Training.

The ideal candidate has advanced PV hands-on experience, strong training skills, and the ability to lead groups in creating SOPs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of field operations & maintenance experience at utility-scale PV or PV+BESS sites.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• 3+ years in technical training, peer-mentorship, and/or curriculum development OR proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Manager of Training in executing the training program vision and tasks.
• Training development and front-end scoping of content for field operations technicians.
• Support OEM training vendors and improve training offerings that affect AES business.
• Close the gap between AES Training initiatives and field operations needs.
