Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting, LLC seeks a Lead System Integrator - Critical Infrastructure in Texas. You will lead installation, startup, testing and commissioning of large-scale BAS/EPMS projects, coordinating with engineers, vendors and clients to ensure successful operation and acceptance.

The role requires a engineering degree, 5+ years in controls, PLC/SCADA experience (AB ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Ignition) and 50–75% travel across Texas and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related discipline.
• Two years of hands-on installation, testing, validation and troubleshooting of controls infrastructure.
• Minimum of five years of additional experience with installation, testing, validation and troubleshooting of controls infrastructure, ideally in PLC and SCADA implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead startup, commissioning and closeout of BAS/EPMS/HVAC controls systems (80%).
• Oversee installation activities of electrical sub-contractors and teams up to six System Integrators.
• Communicate with clients, project managers and subcontractors to report progress and issues.
