Job summary
Smart Tech Contracting, LLC is seeking a Lead System Integrator – Critical Infrastructure to drive commissioning and startup of large-scale BAS/EPMS projects in the Texas region. You will coordinate with design engineers, contractors, DSIs and clients to ensure successful operation and acceptance of complex systems.
The role requires strong knowledge of HVAC, controls wiring, and PLC/SCADA platforms, plus experience leading small teams through L2/L3 verification.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related discipline.
- Two years of hands-on installation experience with controls infrastructure.
- Five years of additional experience ideally in PLC and SCADA implementations.
Responsibilities
- Lead pre-functional and functional testing of BAS/EPMS systems.
- Troubleshoot BAS/EPMS equipment, IO and network systems.
- Coordinate with design engineers, contractors, DSIs and clients.
- Oversee installation efforts of electrical subs and teams.
- Provide QA/QC and closeout documentation.
