Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting LLC in El Paso, TX seeks a Lead System Integrator – Critical Infrastructure to lead startup, testing, and commissioning of large-scale BAS/EPMS projects, coordinating with design engineers, suppliers, and clients.

The role requires hands-on expertise with PLC/SCADA (Allen Bradley, Ignition), HVAC/electrical systems, and strong leadership of small teams; travel to Texas sites will be required, and AI-enabled tools are used to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with PLC platforms (Allen Bradley) and SCADA (Ignition).
• Ability to lead small teams and coordinate subcontractors.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead startup, commissioning and closeout of BAS/EPMS/HVAC controls.
• Perform troubleshooting and testing of BAS/EPMS equipment.
• Coordinate with design engineers, contractors and clients.
• Provide QA/QC and closeout documentation.
• Leverage AI and digital tools to improve efficiency.
• Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders.
