Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting, LLC invites a Lead System Integrator – Critical Infrastructure to join our Texas-based team. You will lead startup, commissioning and closeout of large-scale BAS/EPMS projects, coordinating with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure success.

You will oversee installation, guide sub-contractors, and manage teams through L2/L3 verification, while leveraging AI-enabled tools to optimize workflows and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with startup and troubleshooting of PLC platforms including Allen Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix.
• Experience with troubleshooting SCADA platforms including Ignition.
• Experience leading small teams in testing and troubleshooting of controls systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in startup, commissioning and closeout of BAS/EPMS/HVAC controls systems.
• Coordinate with design engineers, contractors, DSIs, vendors and client staff.
• Oversee installation efforts of electrical sub-contractors and manage teams of up to six System Integrators.
• Communicate project progress and maintain documentation for stakeholders.
