Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting, LLC is seeking a Lead System Integrator – Critical Infrastructure to guide large-scale BAS/EPMS projects through startup, testing and handover. You will supervise a team of system integrators, coordinate with design engineers and vendors, and ensure the system meets contract requirements.

The role emphasizes leadership in electrical and controls installation, debugging and commissioning, with a focus on critical facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related discipline or two years of hands-on installation experience.
• Minimum five years of additional field experience in controls infrastructure ideally PLC/SCADA implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead startup, commissioning and closeout of BAS/EPMS/HVAC controls projects with PLC/SCADA platforms.
• Troubleshoot BAS/EPMS equipment, IO, sensors and networks; document deviations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with design engineers, contractors, vendors and clients to ensure system acceptance.
• Direct teams of technicians through installation, testing and verification in line with project schedules.
