Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 2 to plan, manage, and execute complex projects, focusing on safety, scheduling, and cost control. You will handle material/equipment, contribute to people management, and ensure documentation aligns with project goals for timely, profitable completion.

The role requires coordination with owners, design teams, and authorities; travel and flexible hours may be needed to meet project needs. Strong leadership and Lean experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years construction; 3+ years field supervision.
• Lean principles experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and mentor team to maintain injury-free environment.
• Manage subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinate and manage project site care and control.
• Lead daily standup and weekly trade meetings; participate in OAC meetings.
• Prepare and adjust project schedule with Project Manager.
• Monitor budget and costs via project management system.
