Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Sr. Field Technician to lead field crews, manage complex testing and maintenance projects, and serve as the primary interface with customers and engineering teams.

The role combines advanced technical expertise, leadership, and project coordination for substation work across various equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in the industry, NETA certifications preferred, and a strong focus on safety and quality execution.EPS offers

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Must pass criminal background check.
• Willing to work overtime and travel out of town.
• Must have a valid drivers license and maintain a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews in testing, inspection, maintenance, and commissioning of electrical equipment across LV/MV/HV.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and PPE used properly on all sites.
• Develop testing plans, procedures, and work scopes for projects.
• Prepare and review detailed test and maintenance reports for customers.
• Coordinate field activities with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders.
