Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager – Substation to lead multidisciplinary teams through the full project lifecycle, from scope through closeout. You will ensure design quality, scheduling, budgets, and safety compliance on complex substation upgrades and greenfield builds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or graduate degree in engineering from ABET accredited university.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in electric utility engineering or management.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and ops leadership on technical goals and oversee engineering work.
• Act as technical lead through all project phases, including site visits.
• Define scope, deliverables, assumptions, and technical requirements.
• Coordinate performance of engineering partners and review KPIs.
• Lead design reviews, constructability reviews, and risk mitigation.
• Ensure documentation and standards meet company and client needs.
• Support business development with client meetings and proposals.
