Job summary

Five Below is hiring for an hourly store leadership role in Ohio. You will supervise crew members, deliver fast, friendly checkout experiences, and train associates on the BEST customer service approach. The position requires strong communication, multitasking, and composure under pressure.

As a Manager on Duty, you’ll oversee opening/closing, cash handling, and store operations while driving sales and controlling expenses. A flexible schedule is often needed to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members wow the customer through personal contact.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures strong customer service.
• Assists with the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock.
• Acts as Manager on Duty and handles store operations and staff.
• Manages opening/closing, cash, lockups, alarms, and daily operations.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising and service.
• Partners with store leadership on merchandising procedures.
• Performs store maintenance.
