Job summary

Five Below is seeking an hourly Crew/Shift lead in Ohio to WOW customers, train associates, and oversee daily store operations. You may act as Manager on Duty, manage opening and closing duties, and support onboarding while driving sales and maintaining store standards.

Qualified candidates will have at least a High School diploma (college experience preferred) and a minimum of 1 year of management experience, with strong communication and multi-tasking skills. Flexible scheduling is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew members WOW customers through personal engagement.
• Train crew on BEST customer service, ensuring fast, friendly checkouts.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and maintain high service standards.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking merchandise for fast floor placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty and oversee store operations and staff.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, ensure daily readiness.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive store sales and manage expenses by improving merchandising and service.
• Collaborate with leadership on merchandising and store-wide initiatives.
• Perform store maintenance and housekeeping duties.
