Five Below in North Canton, OH is seeking an hourly leader to help oversee store operations and guest experience. You’ll open/close the store, manage cash, and serve as Manager on Duty when needed.

You’ll train associates on the BEST customer service, drive sales, and support merchandising while maintaining a safe, clean store. The role emphasizes flexibility with day/evening/weekend shifts and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows the customer through personal contact.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring a fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and stocking for quick placement on sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed and manages store operations and staff.
• Opens or closes the store, handles cash, doors, alarms, and daily prep.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates in policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising and service.
• Partners with store leadership on merchandising and World Recovery.
• Performs store maintenance including trash, cleaning, and stock room upkeep.
